Technology

• Rearview Monitor provides the driver with an unobstructed view of the area behind the truck while the guide lines make backing up to a trailer simple
• Blind Spot Warning triggers an alert when another vehicle enters that area. If the driver puts on the turn signal, the indicator light flashes and an audible warning sounds.
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert is an optional feature that alerts the driver about vehicles that might not be seen as they approach from the side while the truck is backing up.
• The Around View Monitor detects objects that are moving near the truck and emits both an audible and visual alert.

Performance

The all-new Nissan Titan XD comes equipped with a 5.6-liter V-8 gasoline engine that packs 390 horsepower and 410 lb-ft. of torque. This heavy-duty truck also offers a Cummins diesel 5.0-liter engine with 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft. of torque for a towing capacity of 12,314 pounds. Both engines come standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission along with a choice of either four-wheel or rear-wheel drive. With a top speed of 105 MPH, the Nissan Titan XD can reach 60 MPH from zero in 7.4 seconds. Occupants won't have to contend with very much bouncing while riding in the 2017 Nissan Titan XD thanks to its coil spring rear suspension. Steering is nimble and responsive with the rack-and-pinion hydraulic system.

Safety

As part of its tow-ready design, the Nissan Titan XD is outfitted with an on-dash Integrated Trailer Brake Control that enables the driver to easily activate and adjust the trailer's brakes. Trailer Sway Control improves control when towing during adverse conditions such as windy roads. Easily maintain the right speed and brake pressure to facilitate a controlled descent with the Hill Descent Control. Checking the trailer's lights is simple with the Remote Trailer Light Check system -- even without help.
